The Bank of Spain opened a registry for crypto service providers in 2021, and other companies such as Binance, Bitstamp, and BVNK have already registered with the regulator. With the finalization of the European Union’s Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA), regulators in member states like Spain will begin applying new standards and requirements in accordance with the framework.
