Students can use their remote controls to answer multiple choice and true / false questions presented to them by the instructor. For example, the instructor might present the class with the following question:
What is the first day of the week?
A. Saturday B. Sunday C. Monday
Each student would then press the button that corresponds to the correct answer. Thus, if a student wanted to say that "Sunday" was the first day of the week, he or she would press the "B" button on the remote.

The remotes support multiple choice questions that use either letters (A - J) or numbers (1 - 10). Numbers are particularly useful for asking survey or opinion questions that require students to chose a rating from a scale.
